WHY WORKING UNDER MY UMBRELLA?
Are you just starting out and feeling uncertain about your next steps? Or perhaps you've begun your journey but are finding it difficult to keep your truck moving.A key factor contributing to these challenges may be an insufficiently established Motor Carrier (MC) authority, or you might not have one at all. As you may know, in the expedited trucking industry, securing paying loads can be especially challenging for newcomers—particularly during that crucial first year. However, by partnering with our company, you won’t just navigate your first year; you’ll thrive and lay a solid foundation for your business's success!

RPM
OTR loads are typically paid based on several factors, including the states you're traveling to and from, load weight and size, and any specific requirements like extra equipment or certifications. Generally, the pay range is between $2.40 and $3.10 per mile (excluding any special requirements).

GROSS
Your weekly gross income will also depend on factors like how many days a week you’re willing to work and how many miles you can drive. For a regular OTR driver taking two loads—let’s say from Atlanta, GA to Los Angeles, CA (2,100 miles) and back—you might earn around $2,800 for one leg of the trip.
However, here’s the trick: if you maximize your loads by carrying two partial loads on each trip, you can double your income to around $5,600 for that round trip.
With this strategy, your potential Weekly Gross could be around $11,000!

RPM
LOCAL loads typically pay more than OTR loads due to their shorter distances and time sensitivity. For trips ranging from 100 to 250 miles, you can expect to earn between $5 and $12 per mile. Generally, the longer the distance, the lower the pay per mile.

GROSS
Your weekly gross will depend on your schedule, but let’s consider a scenario where you take two trips a day from Atlanta, GA - Birmingham, AL - Atlanta, GA (150 miles each way). In this case, your daily gross could be around $2,500.

RPM
OTR loads are typically paid based on several factors, including the states you’re traveling between, load weight and size, and any specific requirements like extra equipment or certifications. The pay range is generally between $1.24 and $1.50 per mile (not including special requirements).

Commercial Insurance

Remember, you’ll be operating under my company, which means loads will be booked under my company’s COI responsibility. This means that your truck and driver must be added to my policy! ☝🏼 Please note that insurance expenses are your personal responsibility!

Orientation

Once your truck and driver are added, and you’ve printed out the insurance certificate and stickers with my company info, you’ll just have one last step: a 30-minute orientation. This will cover how to safely operate under my MC and how to use my company name with customers. After that, you’re all set and ready to go! 😎
